Camilla Vatne Barratt-Due

looks at the relationship between  the mechanical instrument and the voice.

Bringing  existence into accord with the life of which is an expression

In her practice as an artist she examines the notion of dissociation through speculative sonification, through synthesis of air and pressure, through sounding objects and through texts.

Her research investigates the histories of catastrophes, life remains and local handworks from living spaces, asking what redistributive historical inscriptions of traces and patterns looks like for the present.
